The goal was to treat the device the way a high-end studio photoshoot would — precise lighting, material accuracy, and compositions that let the industrial design speak for itself — but built entirely in 3D.
The TBD-16 itself is a compact, palm-sized instrument (110 x 110 x 25mm) running on three parallel processors for real-time audio, UI/sequencing, and connectivity. With 16 tracks, multiple sound engines, and a fully hackable open-source platform underneath.
